Huawei calls its Ascend D quad smartphone the “world’s fastest quad-core smartphone.” The device is powered by Huawei’s own K3V2 quad-core processor and boasts a slimline (8.9mm thick profile) design. The Ascend D quad series will launch in China, Australia, Europe, Asia-Pacific, North and South America, and the Middle East in Q2 2012.

The HTC One X is the first phone to run HTC’s camera-improving ImageSense technology enabling users to capture images in just 0.7 seconds, and to simultaneously shoot photos and videos. The HTC One X will be available from April.
