Consumer Electronics Show 2012

 1. Docking Station

Rohan Marley, son of late Reggae musician Bob Marley, displays Bag of Rhythm audio player with docking station for iPhones and iPods from House of Marley during a press event at The Venetian for the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) January 8, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. CES, the world's largest annual consumer technology trade show, runs from January 10-13 and is expected to feature 2,700 exhibitors showing off their latest products and services to about 140,000 attendees.

2. Nokia Lumia 900

 

 

Nokia introduces the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone at a Nokia press event at the Consumer Electronics Show.

 

 

 

 

3. Docking Station

A Gametel wireless controller by Fructel is used to play a video game on a smartphone during a press event at The Venetian for the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) January 8, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The device can turn most Android or iOS smartphones or tablets into portable gaming consoles.

4. Wi-Spi Helicopter

The Wi-Spi video surveillance helicopter at the Consumer Electronics Show. The $119.99 Wi-Spi, which will be available in fall, sends live video signals and can be controlled by a smartphone.

5. Samsung OLED TV

6. HTC Smartphone 

A HTC smartphone with a ST Ericsson Nova A9500 application processor chip. The chip runs augmented reality applications such as the demonstration showing the contents in the box which can be seen in the background.

7. Bag Speaker

Nomad bag speaker system from The House of Marley for the iPad.

8. Skype Camera

A Samsung inTouch HD video Skype camera and its remote (below) are displayed. The device can bring Internet to any non-Internet connected HD television.

9. Pac-Man

 

 

The video game Pac-Man is played on an iCade by Ion Audio. Users can play video games on their iPads using the device. Currently more than 250 games are available and software developers can make their games work with the iCade for free.

 

 

 

 

10. Panasonic Touchpad

A Panasonic Toughpad was displayed.

11. Samsung Wi-Fi video baby monitor

 

 

A Samsung Wi-Fi video baby monitor is displayed. The monitor comes with Apps enabling the video to be displayed on any mobile device and will be available in March 2012 for USD 149.

 

 

12.  Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE

13. Nikishki clamshell

Intel Corp. Corporate demonstrates an Nikishki clamshell that features a touchpad interface when closed.

14. Behringer Splash Bluetooth speaker

Behringer Splash Bluetooth speaker that you can throw in your pool. The Splash comes with a separate dock for music players and will be available in the second quarter of 2012 for USD 99.

15. 16-mp WB850F camera 

 Samsung shows a 16-megapixel WB850F camera.

16. Ion Audio Guitar

Ion Audio displays the Ion Audio Guitar Apprentice. Users put their iPads into the USD 99 unit and with a free App can use the guitar as a teaching and performance tool. The frets on the guitar light up to show finger placement and there is room to plug the device into an amplifier.

17. Myspace TV

Recording artist/actor Justin Timberlake, Myspace CEO Tim Vanderhook, President of Panasonic Electronics Marketing Company of North America Shiro Kitajima and Panasonic Electronics Vice President of Content and Services Merwan Mereby appear during a press event to announce Myspace TV, a social TV service that will be available on Panasonic connected televisions.

18. Sensia 200D internet radio

A Sensia 200D internet radio by Pure is displayed. The device is integrated with the Pure music service that went online this week in the UK, a representative said. The $450 device should be available in April and features Facebook and Twitter apps.

19. Lenovo U300s Ultrabook

A Lenovo U300s Ultrabook was displayed.

20. 3M Touch Systems

A prototype 3M Touch Systems 46-inch, projected capacitive. The display utilizing technology from T1 Visions features a six-millisecond response to touch time, handles up to 20 finger touches at once and rejects accidental palm touches.

21.iProdock

 

 

An iProdock for iPhones by iBolt was displayed. The new model, which can dock iPhones with any aftermarket case, should be available in February. 

 

 

22.Eers earphones

Eers, custom-fitted earphones, are displayed. Unlike other fitted earphones, these can be custom-fitted by the consumer with prices starting from $199.00.

23.  Kivic One

A Kivic One is displayed. The new device, available in March, streams video from a smart phone to other devices, like a vehicle video player.

24. Cobra's iRadar

 

 

Cobra's iRadar radar detection system is displayed on an Apple iPhone. The iRadar uses Bluetooth to enable the user to see radar alerts and be warned of upcoming speed and red light cameras and now the information is community based. The information uploads to Cobra's cloud and is relayed back to drivers in the user's area. The hardware component is available for USD 129 and is used with a free phone application. 




25. Cobra JoyRide

 

 

The Cobra JoyRide car charger by Cobra Electronics is displayed. The JoyRide works with Android phones and can automatically trigger preset phone functions like enabling GPS or disabling Wi-Fi with the press of a single button. It will be available for USD 39 in the second quarter of 2012.

 

 

 

 

26. SolarKindle Lighted Covers

SolarKindle Lighted Covers, the first solar book covers for Amazon Kindle e-readers by SolarFocus Technology Co. are displayed.The USD 17.99 covers can hold a charge for up to 50 hours of use and come with a built-in LED reading light.
